What model router or switch is this PC connecting too? A shortcut for this problem is to deactivate then activate the network adapter. Swap out LAN cables. I can see that, because the light on the port would not go off dfe-502tx when there’s no LAN cable attached to it and it dissapeared mytesriously from the device manager. You can follow the dfe-520yx or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

Without proper drivers you might not be able to use that card with Windows 8. So it musn’t be a cable issue I believe. I can’t understand the problem please help me.
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while installing drivers. And after that in the tray icon of LAN it showed up a “!
